At UT Dallas I worked with a team of web specialists to design, develop, program and maintain web sites that belonged to the university. These pages included but not limited to the home page, the seven schools, gateway pages and numerous other sites and pages. I was also responsible for quality checking pages on all major browsers on both Macs and PCs. Listed here are some of the pages I was responsible for.
As a member of the TX Liberty division I volunteered to design and develop our league's web site. I also designed the logo that appears in the upper left corner of the web site. View It
Our Town is a weekly direct mail newspaper in the Johnstown, PA area. At the time I was hired the paper was a brand new concept and had not been printed or distributed yet. I began to design the site in March with a launch date set for the following May. My goal was to create a user interface that was visually stimulating as well as easy to use. The web site launched on time and without any problems. Today, Our Town is a well respected and a highly sought after newspaper that is enjoying incredible success. View It
For my senior project class at JWU we had to design a practical web site for an existing business. At the time my neighbor owned Waist No Time, a gym specializing in fitness for women. The web site uses all of my own original photography. View It
As an employee of Horizon Information Systems I had the pleasure of working with a very talented local artist named Sandy Vigna. Sandy had a web site but it desperately needed redesigned. I designed several layouts in Photoshop according to her specifications and we decided on the layout shown here. View It
While employed at Horizon Information Systems I designed and developed the Hubbel Web Portal. This site was used by Hubbel, an agent of Coast 2 Coast Cellular to get reports regarding cell phone usage. It was also used to purchase phones and generate various other reports. I designed the layout of the web site and I worked with a team of programmers to create the reports and program the shopping cart using ASP. View It
I was hired as a contractor by Hunt Oil to help develop a touch screen application that would appear in the lobby of their new headquarters. One of their full time employees and I planned, designed, developed and implimented the application. The project had to be completed within 52 days and in time for the grand opening of the new headquarters. It was completed early and was tested over and over again for any possible bugs. Also, I scaled down the original version to create a CD-ROM of the application that works on both Macs and PCs. View It
Matt Beck is the touring keyboardist for the rock group Matchbox Twenty. He asked if I could put up some videos of him performing with Matchbox Twenty on his web site. Matt and I gathered our VHS tapes of his various TV performances. I took the tapes and imported them onto a Mac using iMovie. Once they were imported I used Final Cut Pro to edit them. I utilized Flash MX to create .flv files and stream the videos on his web site using Flash. View It
For my Multimedia III class at JWU we were assigned the task of recreating Super Mario Brothers in Flash. I used a combination of velocity calculations and hit test to make Mario jump, collect coins, and kill the goombahs. View It
This quiz was the second project from Multimedia II. In this project we continued our study of variables and datatypes. We also learned how to use various components that included radio buttons and check boxes. View It
This game was my final project for Multimedia III. I decided I wanted to try and recreate the popular PC game called Ball Blaster in Flash. I used point-circle collision detection using the radius of the circle to determine if the ball was hitting the walls. If it is hitting the wall it bounces off of the wall. In this project I studied a lot of advanced Actionscripting using various math functions. View It
My friend Jason asked me to design a web site for the new band that he was managing. I worked with him and his assistant, Mandy, to help bring their vision to life. They told me what they envisioned the site to be like, and I designed a site based on their specifications. Unfortunately, the band split up before the web site was finished. View It
Santa's Math Quiz was the first assignment from Mulitmedia II. The point of creating a math quiz was to learn how to use variables and datatypes with Actionscript. Since it was assigned around Christmas, I decided to make my quiz with Christmas in mind. View It

Using Photoshop and Illustrator I created a logo for my kickball league to be used on the web site and in the newsletter.
